*Moscovia is the historical and correct name of the Russian Federation

Lately, the media has been full of complaints about the effectiveness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' use of artillery provided by Western allies. But let's take a look at the reality. Let's take as a basis only the confirmed data on the losses of both sides from the Oryx and Yakub groups.

We will cover the period from June 1 to November 17 (170 days) and will take into account artillery with a caliber of 120 mm and bigger.

Calculations:

  4. Captured artillery from the Moscovy occupation forces 6 units: 1 unit of BM “Grad”, 2 units of Msta-C, 3 units of Msta-B.

Total losses of cannon and rocket artillery (destroyed + damaged) = 112 units.

Average artillery loss of 0.65 units per day based on visually confirmed data.
